This Privacy Policy explains how Agent Desk, operated by Waruna de Silva, a sole trader based in Sri Lanka ("we", "us", "our"), handles information in connection with the Agent Desk desktop application (the "App") and the website at agentdesk.sh (the "Site").
Short version: Agent Desk runs entirely on your own computer. We do not have servers that collect, store, or process your files, configurations, or activity. The only personal data we ever handle is what our payment provider Paddle collects when you buy the P2P sync feature, and what you send us if you email us directly.
Agent Desk does not include analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or tracking of any kind. The App does not send any information about your usage, files, configurations, or device to us or any third party. The P2P sync feature (when available) transfers files directly between your own devices using end-to-end encryption — we have no access to those files.
We only receive personal data in the following limited circumstances:
When you purchase the P2P sync feature, the transaction is processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as the merchant of record and data controller for the transaction. Paddle collects information necessary to complete your purchase, which may include your name, email address, billing address, country, payment method details, and IP address. We receive from Paddle a limited record of the transaction (your email address, the amount paid, the product purchased, and the license key issued) so that we can deliver your license and provide support.

If you contact us at hello@agentdesk.sh, we receive and store your email address and the contents of your message so we can respond. We only use this information to reply to you and keep a record of our communication.
The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may automatically log standard technical information about visitors (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for security, abuse prevention, and service operation. We do not add any additional analytics, cookies, or tracking to the Site. For details, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

We retain transaction records received from Paddle for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting laws (typically up to 7 years). We retain email correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support and maintain records. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), or similar regulations. These may include the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@agentdesk.sh. We will respond within the timeframe required by law.
We operate from Sri Lanka. If you use the App or purchase from outside Sri Lanka, your information may be transferred to and processed in Sri Lanka and other countries where our service providers (such as Paddle and Cloudflare) operate. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.
Agent Desk is not directed at children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We take reasonable steps to protect the limited information we hold. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
